Failed Installing Lotus Notes 8.5.3

I was able to install Lotus Notes Client and Lotus Domino Designer 8.5.0, 8.5.1 and 8.5.2 but it failed to install 8.5.3 version. I tried everything by cleaning up and unstalling Lotus Notes Client and Designer. And then I re-installed 8.5.3 without any successfully. I am still getting the same error message,

"Windows Installer - The configuation data for this product is corrupt. Contact your support personnel"

I went to Microsoft Support and applied "Fix it", http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314852
and I still cannot install Lotus Notes Client and Designer 8.5.3; however, I was able to re-install older version without amy problems but not 8.5.3 version. So, I am kind of stuck with the latest version of 8.5.2. Any clues would be greatly appreciated. My machine operation system is Microsoft Windows XP Professional, Version 2002 - Service Pack 3.
